This is the third and last book in the trilogy. Out of the three, it is the most exciting by far. My issue, and a peeve of most people, is the author left you guessing. There were loose ends abound, enough to make me swear off this author for good.
A novella was written after this but this series, no, the readers, deserved a fourth book to end the character's life properly.

Great end to the trilogy. This story provides more detail into the way Eve thinks. Excellent story line. Highly recommend.

Just love this series. The concept behind the present day Cain and Abel is good. Lot of action in this book.....but can't say much because Sylvia ended on one hell of a cliffhanger and I need to get the next book!!!
In reading on the internet I thought that it was a love story not a series of biblical (devils and gods). I only read the first three chapters of the first book and wrap them up to give to some one to read. Wish I could have sent them back.
I was totally taken in by Sylvia' s first words in the #1 marked novel through to the last word in this #3 novel. I am here to tell you these are three unstoppable reads. You will not want to put down the first book and will be begging for the next one. Eve is kick ass and Cain and Able are just as delicious as they are bitter at times. You really need to read Eve of Chaos as well as the first two Marked Novels. Happy Reading to all who venture forth!
Our Eve has such passion for both Brothers Cain and Abel. Of course they are opposites and we are hoping for them both to love her enough to step up. We have witnessed Eve's development from a sweet Girl to a woman of smart strength and sensuality that few can master. She is awesome and her men are all so hot that they jump of the pages singed. We wish for more and are so sure that either man could be enough for her love. We want to see her as a Woman who can have it all. They are so connected that they can feel and read each others thoughts. We are driven to want to know more about Eve and her two men. Hot and tough Eve is ready. Is she going to fall for Cain or Abel? We can't wait to see the next kick ass book of Eve.
First, the red and white cover image is not the correct cover image for this book - at least the one I bought. I purchased all three books in the series at the same time, in part because the covers sold me. And I read through them all about as fast as they apparently came out from the publisher, one right after the other.

The eternal triangle between Cain and Abel (with Evangeline Hollis as the latest love interest) continues the old feud between these mythical brothers. Abel's role was not so clear in the original dispute (or maybe I missed a few key details), but the story was over-the-top enough to keep me interested despite a few plot holes.

The demon-hunting army of sinners enlisted with the Mark of Cain is an intriguing storyline, and the author carries it through with inventive punch. There were some surprise introductions in this third installment of the series, and obviously the questions left unanswered at the end were intended to lead the reader to purchase Book 4 - but alas there is no Book 4! That is the only real disappointment.

Overall the series starts out very erotic and intriguing, then moves to develop the love triangle even more fully, with Book 3 posing some interesting questions about Cain's heritage. Even with no Book 4 to wrap things up, it's a wild urban fantasy ride that's thoroughly enjoyable.
